Wall-E
If you know me you know I love movies.I love old movies, new movies, comedies, dramas, romantic movies and so on and so on. Lately though there have been some real bad movies even involving some of my favorite actors.(Sorry Mr.DeNiro) I have enjoyed everything that Pixar has put out since they began making films.I'm an artist but if I had any real talent I would be working with these guys. What a great job creating worlds for others to enjoy all the while making those people relate to your art like it is a real person. Two of my favorites are Toy Story and Cars but my new favorite just might be Wall-E. This film doesn't have a conversation between human voices until about 35 minutes into the film but you still care about the main character and feel his loneliness. That's amazing and it all starts with an artist drawing with a pencil. What a great job to have and a great film!

Just got back
I just rolled in from California and man am I beat.I had fun traveling cross country with my brothers to visit my Dad and little sister but wow it's a long drive. On the way out we made a detour and went across Hoover Dam then on to Vegas Baby!! We rolled in to town at 5:30Am so I got to see Vegas in the dark which is impressive. The casinos were already filled with zombies and everybody was pissed off it seemed like from the people that had already gambled away everything all the way to the people working in the casinos. All in all though it was a fun trip that my brothers and I will probably never get chance to take together again.
Two photos:My brothers and I headed into Fremont street and yours truly in Needles NM during one of the numerous bathroom stops!

Fauxhawk WTF???
I saw a 40 year old man with a faux-hawk hairdo today. What a dipshit!!! The popular hairstyle for teenie boppers is like a mohawk for pussies to afraid to commit to a real mohawk which I guess is ok for a kid trying to "fit in" , but a 40 year old man with one WTF??? I wanted to slap the shit out of him!!!
NOT COOL
Here's a committed MFer!!

The Prez!!!
Why do we need celebrity endorsements for political candidates? Is it because they think the general public is to stupid to think for ourselves or IS the general public to stupid to think for themselves and actually believe what some airhead celebrity is paid to say????

Caveman again??!!
While watching the chopper challenge Powerplant choppers is building a Geico caveman bike. Please see my previous post about the caveman. HAHAHA!!
TV
I've been watching chopper challenge tonight on cmt apparently they are doing a marathon. I think alot of gearheads are like me and watch these shows because they are remotely related to their interests. The problem with these tv shows are that they focus on the drama (albeit staged or real) not the actual building process. I guess they do that so they don't lose the interest of average Joe Sheeple that buys the tasteless crap that they try to pass off as whats cool. Joe Sheeple looks at a bike that someone put their heart and soul into building and has no clue just how much it took to build it but has no problem pointing out what he thinks are mistakes or flaws in the bike or car for that matter. Especially when it's being built on a real budget and not "sponsored" by a multi billion dollar company thats only interested in it as a commerical. He just saw Paul Turtle Sr. belittle his own kid (and they guys that show up and work for him everyday making his dumbass rich) and think that is how it's done. I don't give a shit what Mr. Sheeple thinks I build my stuff for me the way I want to. When I started my bike I had a picture of what I wanted in my head and thats what came out. When you can do that Mr. Sheeple then come talk to me and I'll shake your hand....Then I'll tell you how much your bike sucks!!HAHA!

Pushrod rules ! Me, not so much!
We went to the PUSHROD show Sat. night at the Cadillac Pizza Pub the they rocked the place as usual. Even the yuppies that came in later were feeling it!! Mike and the guys got me up on stage to sit in with them after some prodding from my wife ,Jeremy and the whole damn bar! It's been a long time since I've played with a band and even longer since I played to a crowd but it was alot of fun. Even though it seemed like I was on a one man crusade to make PUSHROD suck, it just reminded me how much I miss playing music. More in the future maybe??....Who knows?
